Filters are an integral part of any hydraulic system to protect system components from wear metals and foreign contaminates. Fluid sampling valves should be installed upstream of filters or downstream of critical components to capture a representative oil sample and to monitor the condition of critical components. The KP and KST Series sampling valve can be used on higher pressure systems while the L Series is recommended for lower pressure systems.
