Description

The reservoir is not an ideal location to take fluid samples as wear metals have a tendency to settle at the bottom making it more difficult to capture a representative sample of the overall system. If it is necessary to take a reservoir sample, use the LT or BT valve and position the tube as close as possible to the reservoir inlet port to draw a sample of active circulating oil. Installing a LT Series valve with a swivel adapter enables the tube to be bent to capture active oil and allows the valve to be installed while the tube is oriented in the desired position.
